SAN FRANCISCO OVEN OPENS IN COLUMBUS TOMORROW
COLUMBUS, Ohio-San Francisco Oven will open its doors in Columbus on October 15. The restaurant, located at 65 East State Street will be open from 7am -9 pm Monday through Friday and 8am to 2pm on Saturdays. San Francisco Oven will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and will prove to be a fresh face and exciting option for the residents and commuters in downtown Columbus.
This opening marks the first franchised restaurant for the San Francisco Oven chain and the second San Francisco Oven in Ohio. Bob Rohde, the franchisee, is a former director of operations for McDonalds and according to Matt Harper, ìa solid base on which to build reliable, experienced franchisees.î
San Francisco Oven offers a ìTaste of the Bay Areaî specializing in award-winning brick oven pizza, hot and cold sandwiches, fresh soups and salads, as well as beer and wine from Northern California. They also offer a full catering menu, delivery, a full dinner menu and their own ìTake and Bakeî pizzas and entrees.
Matt Harper and Eddie Cerino, owners of Eddies Creekside restaurant, in Brecksville, Ohio opened San Francisco Oven in 2001 in Willoughby Ohio aiming to become a strong competitor in the growing fast casual segment. Their advantage over competitors is the attention to quality of food, detail to atmosphere and ease of operation. San Francisco Oven restaurants are 2500-3500 square feet and seat 80-120 guests.
